The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the CTET February 2026 exam date. The 21st edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be held on 8 February 2026. Eligibility Criteria
For Paper I (Classes 1 to 5)
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
- Bachelor’s degree with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
For Paper II (Classes 6 to 8)
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
- Graduation with at least 45% marks as per NCTE norms and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed
- Post Graduation with at least 55% marks and 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed (with bridge course, if required)

- Click on “Apply for CTET 2026”
- Register with your details and generate login credentials
- Complete the application form and upload scanned documents
- Pay the application fee online (debit/credit card, net banking, UPI) or offline
- Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference
